Women’s Health In Women’s Hands Community Health Centre is committed to providing holistic health services to racialized women in the GTA.
Community Programs
we engage in outreach, community based activities and research which engage women in achieving change in conditions which have adverse effects on our health.
Mental Health Services
Women’s Health in Women’s Hands counselling services employs a feminist, woman-centred approach to provide short-term counselling, group sessions and workshops to women from our priority populations.
Diabetes Education Program
The Diabetes Education Program at WHIWH CHC provides culturally-adapted screening, health education, counselling, support. and medical services for women from our priority populations with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or gestational diabetes.
HIV/AIDS & Sexual Health Services
Women’s Health in Women’s Hands counselling services employs a feminist, woman-centred approach to provide short-term counselling, group sessions and workshops to women from our priority populations.
Research
WHIWHs has a long-standing practice of creating services and programs that are informed by the voices of the women we serve. Our research program is focused on this critical goal; to generate knowledge that improves the lives and health of racialized women.
